The Hospitality Ministry of HSMBC takes pleasure in welcoming visitors into fellowship and worship. The duty of the ministry is to make sure every person entering the sanctuary is greeted in Christian love.
The Culinary Ministry provides the support and service to all ministries of Harrison Street Baptist Church and the community. We support the ministries for meetings, training workshops, and special services with meals and/or snacks. We also provide repast for members in bereavement.This ministry is adaptable to ever evolving circumstances with vision to the goal of “Strengthening the bonds of Family through Fellowship”. (Hebrews 10:24)
The Usher Ministry is comprised of seniors and Youth promoting the order of worship service. It consists of servants used by God to meet, greet, and direct individuals who enter Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church during services. The ministry serves to accommodate the needs of the pastor, members and congregation. Monthly meetings are encouraged to train on the techniques and principles of the Usher Ministry.
This ministry provides transportation to all members and those in the community who have a desire to worship and serve God at HSMBC. To request transportation or for more information, please contact the church office at (270) 442-8946.
This ministry initiates, develops and supports community nursing and health throughout the church. Membership is open to anyone interested in advancing wellness and health within the church.
This ministry consists of associate ministers, deacons, and lay leaders from within the congregation to promote the unity, and well-being of the church membership.
This ministry meets the needs of the congregation in whatever capacity is requested.
